Hear the demo

Don’t take our word for it. Call it.

The fastest way to understand the service is to hear it handle a real conversation. Call the fictional roofing-company demo at (586) 271-0712, then try one of these caller scenarios:

  • “I need an estimate for a new roof.”
  • “My roof is leaking right now.”
  • “What areas do you serve?”
  • “Are you available on weekends?”

Call the AI receptionist Demo calls are answered by an AI assistant for a fictional business. Do not share sensitive or emergency information.
Why it matters

Your business should not stop when you miss a call.

Calls arrive while you are driving, working with a customer, on a jobsite, or home for the night. Every caller still deserves a useful first response.

01

New leads get captured

Collect the caller’s name, contact information, service request, location, and preferred follow-up method.

02

Common questions get answered

Provide approved information about services, service areas, hours, policies, and next steps.

03

Important calls get flagged

Apply your rules to separate routine questions, estimate requests, existing customers, and urgent callbacks.

What it handles

Give every caller a helpful first response.

The receptionist follows the business information and call-handling rules you approve.

  • Custom greeting and AI disclosureAnswers with your business name and clearly identifies itself as an AI receptionist.
  • Approved business questionsAnswers from the services, hours, coverage areas, policies, and FAQs you provide.
  • Estimate and callback intakeCollects the caller’s contact details, location, request, and preferred next step.
  • Call transfers when configuredRoutes selected calls to the right person when your phone setup and availability allow it.
  • Email or text summariesSends the agreed details to the appropriate person so your team can follow up.
  • Separate business-hours rulesHandles open, after-hours, missed, and overflow calls according to different instructions.
  • Safe fallback behaviorTakes a message or hands off uncertain questions instead of inventing an answer.
  • Testing before launchYour team tests normal, difficult, and unexpected scenarios before customer calls are routed.
Focused setup

Reliable call handling first. Complex integrations separately.

Our core receptionist package does not need access to your calendar or CRM. It answers calls, qualifies the request, takes a detailed message, and sends your team a clean summary for follow-up. That keeps setup faster, safer, and easier to test.

If you later need direct appointment booking or CRM updates, we evaluate your software separately. We only promise an integration after compatibility and end-to-end testing.

Best fit

AI call answering for companies that rely on the phone.

Z&S Reception is especially useful when most callers need an answer, an estimate, or a callback—not immediate access to a live appointment calendar.

Roofing, siding & gutters
General contractors & remodelers
Landscaping & property maintenance
Painting & flooring
Cleaning & junk removal
Other quote-driven local services

If calls involve regulated advice, emergency dispatch, or mandatory live scheduling, we will tell you upfront whether the current service is appropriate.

How it works

From first conversation to live coverage.

1

15-minute walkthrough

We learn what callers ask, what information you need, and which calls require special handling.

2

Custom build

We create the greeting, approved knowledge, intake questions, escalation rules, and summary format.

3

Real-world testing

You call with normal, difficult, and unexpected scenarios. We revise the receptionist before launch.

4

Call routing

Once approved, we configure all-call, after-hours, or missed-call forwarding based on your phone setup.

5

Review and refinement

We review the initial results and refine approved answers and call-handling rules as needed.

Built-in guardrails

Helpful, honest, and trained to hand off.

The receptionist is configured to identify itself as AI, use only approved business information, and escalate questions it cannot answer safely. It does not invent prices, availability, policies, guarantees, or professional advice.

Example call opening
“Thanks for calling [Business Name]. I’m [AI Name], the company’s AI receptionist. This call may be recorded or transcribed so I can assist you and send the team a summary. How can I help today?”

FAQ

Questions before you call the demo.

Will it replace my current phone number?
Usually not. Many businesses can forward all calls, after-hours calls, or unanswered calls to the receptionist. We verify the exact routing with your carrier or phone provider before launch.
Will callers know it is AI?
Yes. We configure a clear AI disclosure at the beginning of the call. The goal is to give callers a fast, helpful response—not to mislead them.
What happens when it does not know an answer?
It follows the fallback rules approved during setup. Depending on the situation, it can take a message, offer a callback, or transfer the caller when that option is available. It is instructed not to guess.
Does it book appointments?
Direct calendar booking is not part of the core package. The receptionist can collect a requested day or time and send it to your team. Direct booking integrations are separately scoped and offered only after compatibility testing.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. Call the live fictional-business demo at (586) 271-0712. We can discuss a business-specific demo after the 15-minute fit check.
Where do call summaries go?
Summary delivery is configured to the verified email or text destination agreed during setup. We test the recipient and delivery flow before launch.
Are calls recorded or transcribed?
Calls may be recorded or transcribed to operate the receptionist and produce summaries. When those features are used, callers receive a disclosure. Collection, processing, and retention are documented for the approved setup before launch.

Let your next caller hear a helpful answer—not a voicemail tone.
