Who we are
Z&S Trading Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent design, web, and AI call-answering studio based in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Z&S Reception is a service of Z & S Trading LLC. This policy explains what information we collect through zandstradingco.com and our demonstration or service inquiries, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Website inquiries
When you fill out our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, including:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your business name and the type of project you are interested in
- Optional business details such as industry, approximate call volume, coverage needs, booking requirements, and walkthrough preference
- Any details you include in the message field
Netlify processes and stores form submissions for this website. When form notifications are enabled, the submission is also sent to our chosen business inbox so we can respond.
AI receptionist calls
When someone calls a Z&S Reception demo or an AI receptionist operated for a client, the approved setup may process:
- The caller's phone number and call metadata, such as date, time, and duration
- The caller's name, contact details, location, and reason for calling
- Audio recordings or transcripts when those features are enabled
- Call summaries, routing outcomes, and requested follow-up details
When recording or transcription is used, the call opening is configured to provide a disclosure. Callers should not share passwords, payment-card details, medical information, Social Security numbers, or emergency information with a demo receptionist. Emergency situations should be directed to 911 or the appropriate emergency service.
Why we use information
We use website information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, arrange demonstrations, and communicate about requested services. AI receptionist information is used to answer the call, follow approved handling rules, route or summarize the request, test quality, prevent abuse, and provide the agreed service. We do not add inquiry contacts to unrelated marketing lists without permission.
Service providers and sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support the requested service, including Netlify for website hosting and forms, Google / Gmail for business communication, and Ulio AI and applicable telephony or AI subprocessors for configured receptionist calls. A client's own phone carrier, email provider, CRM, or other approved destination may also receive information when that routing is part of the setup.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
Client-operated receptionists
A business using Z&S Reception determines the approved business information, call-handling rules, recipients, and purposes for its receptionist. That business is responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions required for its industry, location, and use. Regulated-data requirements are evaluated separately and are not assumed to be supported unless confirmed in writing.
How long we keep it
We keep project inquiries and service records only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide the service, resolve issues, meet contractual or legal obligations, and maintain appropriate business records. Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries depend on the approved service configuration and provider settings. A specific retention period should be confirmed in the client agreement before launch.
Your choices and rights
You are always in control of your information. At any time, you can ask us to:
- See what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information from our records
- Stop receiving any communication from us

How we protect your information
Our website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the website to function. Because we don't track you, there's nothing for you to opt out of — but if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly on this page.
